Asan SmartFactory Meister HighSchool in Chungnam (Principal Cho Dong-heon) has recently entered into a business agreement with NEWKL (CEO Kim Byung-soo) with the objective of revitalizing mutual cooperation.

The two organizations will collaborate based on mutual respect and trust to develop XR-based education and evaluation content and systems with the goal of fostering professional talent in the smart factory field and contributing to national competitiveness.

NEWKL is an edtech-based HRD company that developed the first XR curriculum in the industry and holds intellectual property rights for smart technology-based learning methods and learning activities, as well as patents for XR-based learning platforms and VR real-time communication platforms.

"We are eager to collaborate with Asan SmartFactory Meister HighSchool and NEWKL on the National Qualification Evaluation System project. We will provide unwavering guidance and support to ensure the success of this initiative," said Mr. Kim.

"In the digital transformation era, there is a pressing need to introduce virtual reality technology in the smart factory field. We anticipate that specialized education in the smart factory field will reach new heights through collaboration with NEWKL," said Cho Dong-heon, principal of Asan SmartFactory Meister HighSchool.

The program, developed by NEWKL (CEO Byung-soo Kim), is designed to educate students on the prevention of school violence.

The VR education program was designed to raise student awareness of the seriousness of school violence and educate them on effective prevention and response methods. NEWKL developed and implemented an educational program using XR-Learning technology to address the issue of school violence.

XR-Learning is an innovative educational method that maximizes learner immersion and participation by utilizing extended reality technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality. It is based on NEWKL's self-developed extended reality education platform, XR-BOOK.

NEWKL explained that the Sejong Special Self-Governing City Autonomous Police Commission expressed high appreciation for its technology, which led to the issuance of an order for the project's implementation.

Specifically, the company stated that it set clear goals for school violence prevention education during the planning and program design stages, developed educational content in accordance with the age and understanding of the target students, and successfully completed the project through the development, implementation, and evaluation stages.

"We will continue to strive to enhance students' learning experiences and contribute to solving social problems through innovative educational methods," said a company representative. "As we were able to successfully complete this project through cooperation with the Sejong Special Self-Governing City Autonomous Police Commission, we will continue to provide more advanced educational programs in cooperation with various organizations."

On the 28th, Ltd. announced its completion of the content production for the 2023 Realistic Digital Mental Strength Education Content Production Project.

This project aims to strengthen the all-out warfare power of the Korean Armed Forces by developing realistic content and educational programs on major battles, historical sites, and examples of military spirit.

In 2021, Ltd. has developed more immersive content using their experience in mental power education. They have also implemented a systematic VR content and educational program design method.

This content offers an efficient learning experience through the creation of 360 VR and 360 VR videos of security sites that are difficult for soldiers to visit in person. Additionally, it includes VR animations based on the Battle of Dabudong, one of the representative battles of the Korean War, providing an opportunity to experience the battlefield vividly with the feeling of directly participating in the historical scene.

Additionally, VR can enhance the educational experience by enabling immersive and engaging learning. It facilitates in-depth learning through natural repetition and self-directed study before and after the experience. Our program development prioritizes scalability and flexibility, utilizing mirroring that can be adjusted with Oculus Quest 3 for optimal effectiveness.

The completed content has been installed and distributed to over 900 devices. The scope of immersive training will gradually expand as it is distributed to additional units in the future.
