The training, which was held for library directors and librarians under the theme of 'Metaverse and Library fit XR BOOK Meet the Little Prince', was held twice at the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korea Library Association and the Gwangju Metropolitan City Library since October last year, and introduced the current state of Metaverse technology and the areas where libraries and Metaverse technology meet.
In the first part of each training, Kim Byung-soo, CEO of the company, spoke about the technology cases of the Metaverse, its educational value, and the possibilities of utilizing the Metaverse through library cases, and in the second part, the training was held to experience the XR BOOK 'Meet the Little Prince' developed by the company.
According to the company, the XR BOOK was used for education using XR (extended reality), and the content was also used in programs for capacity building, leadership, and promotion training for Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education officials and teachers. The XR BOOK has recently been patented for "apparatus and method for providing learning platform based on extended reality (XR)," the company explained.
According to the company, the first program of XR BOOK, 'Meet Me, the Little Prince,' is a program that blends VR and AR based on transformational learning, and is a healing program where you can meet the world's best-selling novel 'The Little Prince' in virtual reality and augmented reality, so it is being introduced as an internal training material in private companies in addition to public institutions.
